Allo-Auto ("we", "our", "the platform") operates allo-auto.tn, a marketplace connecting people who want to rent a car with partner car rental agencies in Tunisia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can stay in control of your information.
1. Data we collect
- Account information: first and last name, email address, phone number, password (stored encrypted).
- Booking information: rental dates and locations, chosen vehicle, selected agency, and where applicable the documents requested by the agency (driving licence, ID document).
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed — for security and to improve the site.
- Communications: messages sent through our contact form or our customer support.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used to create and manage your account, pass your booking request to the relevant rental agency, send you confirmations and information about your rental, answer your support requests, and improve the security and operation of the platform. We never use your data for purposes incompatible with these without telling you.
3. Sharing data with partner agencies
When you make a booking, the information needed for the rental (identity, contact details, dates, vehicle) is passed to the partner rental agency you chose, so that it can prepare and honour your booking. Each agency is responsible for processing the data it receives in performing the rental contract that binds you directly to it.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (keeping your session, language and currency preferences) as well as audience-measurement cookies to understand how the site is used and improve it. You can configure your browser to refuse non-essential cookies; some site features may then be limited.
5. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active, then for as long as necessary to meet our legal and accounting obligations or to resolve any disputes, before it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
