These are the questions we are most frequently asked about renting a car in Tunisia: booking, documents, payment, insurance and picking the vehicle up.

Allo-Auto is a car rental marketplace in Tunisia: we do not own the vehicles, we connect travellers with vetted partner rental agencies. For your dates we find the best available price across our network and show it to you directly, then you book online. The rental contract itself is signed directly with the partner agency that supplies the car.

Our partner agencies currently cover Greater Tunis, Ben Arous, Djerba, Medenine, Tozeur and Kebili, plus five airports: Tunis-Carthage, Enfidha-Hammamet, Djerba-Zarzis, Monastir Habib Bourguiba and Tozeur-Nefta. Use the search on the home page to see the cars available on your dates.

A valid driving licence and an original ID document (national ID card or passport) in the driver’s name, shown to the agency at pick-up. The main driver must be at least 29 years old.

The price shown is the full rental price for the dates you chose, taxes included: nothing is added after you book. No bank card is required to book and nothing is charged online — the rental and the security deposit are settled directly with the agency when you pick the car up. The deposit is returned when you bring the car back.

Cancellation is free for as long as the rental contract has not been signed at the agency. For any question about a booking in progress, call our team on +216 58 591 690 or email contact@allo-auto.tn.

Contact the rental agency first — it is responsible for the vehicle and the contract. If the problem persists, our support team can help you reach a solution with the partner agency: write to contact@allo-auto.tn or call us, and we reply within one working day.

Gladly. Fill in the form on the "Become a host" page, or email us directly at contact@allo-auto.tn. Our team will get back to you shortly to walk you through the platform and help you put your fleet online.

Yes. The price shown always includes the basic insurance required by Tunisian law and the agency’s cover on the vehicle. Some agencies also offer supplementary insurance that reduces or removes the excess in case of damage: where it is available, it appears as an option at booking time, never added afterwards.

It depends on the agency: many offer key handover at the airport or your hotel for an extra fee, alongside the standard agency pickup. The delivery options available for a given car are shown on its listing, before you confirm the booking.
